Not Enough

Oh that I could love every woman!

Hold them close against my chest

Gather their pain in my arms

Wipe their tears and shelter their tender breasts

These poor girls! These lonely hearts!

How I long to pick them up as they lie in a shattered heap

Be there for them during their failures and false starts

But my arms are not as wide as my heart is deep
